I became a Realtor in 2008 and I understand what it takes for clients to feel comfortable and assured that they are well cared for. Providing great service and knowing a good match has been made with home or land buyers are my main motivations.
Having grown up in Berkeley, California I was exposed to cultural diversity at a young age. My family participated in foreign exchange programs and we shared our home with visiting students. I raised my family on the Big Island and moved to Maui in the early 1990's.
Being comfortable interacting with visitors, I was inspired to have a bed and breakfast and purchased a historic home in Makawao, Maui.. Historic Preservation and Restoration was a great learning experience and I spent 25 years with my 1924 heritage home and creating and running the Hale Ho’okipa Inn Makawao. I was a founding member of the Makawao History Museum and curator for the museum,
Early in 2020, I sold the B&B and moved next door to the dream home that I'd built.
Being an artist, helping a client prepare their home for the market is natural for me. My home is my sanctuary and I enjoy creating a comfortable and pleasing atmosphere. My clients have often utilized some of my suggestions on enhancing the beauty and functionality of their new home.
